

After 10 years of ups and downs for the Royals' franchise, including 3 years of missing playoffs and 2 years of making the semis or better, 2025 was finally the year they got the job done. The Royals secured the 2-seed and bye to the semis and handled the Mets quite easily, sweeping them 2-0 to advance to the chip. The Royals battled the White Sox in the chip and ultimately came away with the 2-1 series victory!

Team Bingnear found themselves in a 4-1 hole in the first ever commissioner's cup before the championship on Sunday, but a last inning rally capped off by a Sean Bingnear grand slam secured the W for team Bingnear.

HIGHLIGHT: The deciding blow came at the hands of Royals captain., Zane Johnston. In the top of the 7th inning, Zane smoked a solo shot over the left field wall to put the Royals up 1-0.
