Our first trade of the year was an interesting one that we haven't typically seen in the fast pitch format of our league. This trade of Lockhart for Volpone was a pure 1 for 1 trade that immediately improved both teams involed. The Mets get a needed bat in Lockhart, and the Jays get some MUCH needed pitching from Cy Young candidate Jay Paul Volpone.
The Astros won their 3rd, and 4th games in a row on Sunday with 2 wins over the A's and the Mariners! Frankie Campanile threw 8 shutout innings and Teddy Drecher hit a massive homerun in game 1 to put the team to 7-1-0 on the year.
Sean Bingnear joined an elite group last week collecting his 1,000th career strikeout against the Expos! Sean joins Greg Myers as the 2nd member of the group, and overtook Greg for the all time lead in the same game. Sean Now sits atop the leaderboard with 1,004 career K's!

Royals Rookie has some SPEED
Flickin' 90s!
Greg "Flick" Adams lives up to his name after a Royals Expos matchup last week. Flick joined the league after messaging us on instagram saying he could "flick low 90's" and he did not disappoint after ripping 95 and 94MPH on back to back pitches post game. While we have a speed limit in our league, Flick is excited to get into the fast pitch scene and will be looking to create another RPWL MAW team for the 8/1/2026 tournament hosted at Ridley!
